Applications are invited to Apply for the Donghua University Shanghai Government Scholarships 2019-2020. Shanghai Government Scholarship (SGS Scholarship) 2019-2020 is now open for international students to apply for theSGS Scholarships in Chinese Universities.
Donghua University has been appointed to accept international students with Shanghai Government Scholarship from 2006. Shanghai Government Scholarship is also like the Chinese Government Scholarship. Now Donghua University is accepting International Students for their Bachelor, Masters & Doctoral Degree program under the Shanghai Government Scholarship.
Every Year they accept around 40 Students for the Donghua University Shanghai Government Scholarships. There are two Tyes of Scholarships offered Type A & Type B. The Difference between in Both the Scholarships are described below with more detailed information.

SGS Scholarship (Full Scholarship Type A):

- Monthly stipend (bachelor’s programs: 2500; master’s programs: CNY 3000; doctoral programs: CNY3500)
- Comprehensive Medical Insurance and Protection Scheme for International Students in China.
SGS Scholarship (Partial Scholarship Type B):
- A waiver of tuition fee
- Comprehensive Medical Insurance and Protection Scheme for International Students in China.

Scholarship & Course Duration
Shanghai Donghua University Scholarship offering Bachelors, Masters & Ph.D. with the duration given below.
- Bachelor’s degree programs: 4 years (might be extended for 1-year Chinese language study).
- Master’s degree programs: 2.5-3 years (might be extended for 1-year Chinese language study)
- Doctoral degree programs: 4 years (might be extended for 1-year Chinese language study)

Eligibility Criteria
- Be a non-Chinese citizen in good health.
- Be a Master’s degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for doctoral programs.
- Be a Bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master’s programs.
- Be a High school graduate under the age of 25 when applying for bachelor’s programs
- Be excellent in academic and extra-curricular performance and yet not be rewarded any other scholarships offered by government, institutes or organizations in China.
